I have worked part time as an ABA therapist for4 years, with 8 months MAT leave within that time. The first 2.5 years were working within a company, after which I switched to Private work as I found it not only more accommodating as a mum of 2 but it allowed me to establish more meaningful relationships with the children I work with and their families. My experience is limited to children 7 and under, however i am open to any age.
My current availability is Tuesday and Fridays and will expand to Thursdays from next year. I would feel most comfortable working with a superior, or someone who oversees and writes programs.
I absolutely love what i do and being able to give children the tools to live their best life is highly rewarding.
I have been with my current families for 3.5 years and 1.5 years, so establishing long term relationships is important to me.
